Learn to maximize your cost influence. When projects are initiated it’s human nature to try and kick decisions down the road as the entire process feels so long but this thinking is shortsighted and can end up costing you more than you think. Take a pro-active stance and commit to your inputs early on so that you can understand the cost/scheduling impacts and properly steer the outcome of your project.
Decisions left too late normally have less positive impacts, can be costly, or occasionally can’t be accommodated at all so use your time wisely.
